I am currently seeking employment or freelance contracts as a junior or mid-level programmer in any industry. I have been programming games in GML in GameMaker since 2016. My wife and I have an indie game studio, Samobee Games, and have three released titles including: Princess Farmer (published through Whitethorn Games on all platforms), and Elemental Survivors, currently in Early Access on Steam. Work on our games is on indefinite hiatus due to my wife's health, and as such I am seeking work as an individual. My experience also includes writing, both copy and dialogue, and game design, including puzzle levels and general design. I am a creative problem solver, and I thrive on being given an end goal and figuring out the best, most flexible, and cleanest way to produce functional, testable results. I have strong Object Oriented Programming skills. I do have some knowledge and experience with Unity and am currently learning Python. Hello, nice to meet you. A few years ago I decided to focus my career on developing games and applications. For this, I always keep up to date with technology and best practices for it. All this so I can be a better Unity developer every day. Today I have 6 years of experience with Unity and I'm always searching for new challenges.
