For the record, I'm a 33 y/o Software Developer from Ecuador, South America, currently studying a MSC degree in Computer Science at the University of York, United Kingdom. I have almost 4 years of experience in Web and Mobile development, working as a Front End and Full Stack developer for several companies in the USA (All of my previous work has been done remotely). I’m currently stationed in Ecuador, but I’m willing to relocate. Although I have experience working with several technologies for frontend design, including Angularjs, Angular2, React an Jquery, I believe that the most technology intensive projects during the last year have been focused on React and Node. By using React, I’ve been able to work in several interesting topics and by using many new technologies such as: 1. Static Site frameworks like Gatsby.js and its integrations with API services like WP, Shopify; 2. Dynamic / Static site Frameworks like Next.js; 3. State management tools like Recoil, Mobx and Redux; 4. Micro service development using Node.js and other frameworks like express and Loopback; 5. SQL and No SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL server 2019, MongoDb, Firebase ); 6. CSS, SCSS and Javascript Css Frameworks (Material, Bootstrap, Chakra ); In summary, I would say that the biggest achievement has been to learn and use such technologies, and learn from the people that use them in scientific projects.
