I started my career as a Full Stack Java developer in the Health Information System industry, specifically the Operating Theater and Laboratory Management systems. My primary duties are to code both frontend and backend. On the backend, I would be using Spring (older version) & Hibernate framework to create endpoints that would perform CRUD against the MySQL database. In my 5th year, I decided it was time for change. I picked up the Python language for a web scraping contest. It was the language I used to work with Selenium, a tool for browser automation. In the same year as well, I picked up C# and Spring Boot along with the Websocket and Security module. I developed a simple containerized multiplayer quiz game hosted on AWS EC2. I've learnt about Dockerization & how to develop real-time applications along with implementing Authentication & Authorization. In my 6th year, I went even further. I picked up modern frontend frameworks, Flutter, React and Svelte. On the backend side, I picked up NodeJS (Express) & Typescript. It was a challenge as the way we code frontend is so much different from the backend. In my 7th year, I switched job for the first time. Just before I switched, I pickedup NextJS. In my new job as Java & NodeJs developer, I was introduced to many techs I've never heard before and grew to love, namely the API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB and the CI/CD techs (CodeBuilder, CodePipeline & CodeDeploy). Aside from the AWS techs, I have also picked up Jenkins. Recently, I have picked up Go Lang to write my Lambda function codes. Personally, I would like to become a recognized senior software engineer, known for my expertise in developing web applications
