Web developer, in the business for +18 years, with +14 years in remote teams as a full-time employee or contractor, in companies based in the US, Canada, UK, and EU. I am actively working as a lead developer and solution architect for Shopify / Shopify Plus-based projects, collaborating with two major US-based agencies that preferred to outsource the development side of the project leadership to me. For about three years I have constantly been asked to join all onboarding calls and new projects or new features planning with the clients of these companies, where I need to confirm the technology capabilities while considering the project's demands and outline a plan of development while also providing an initial ballpark estimate of every milestone that will be set for integration. I am also able to explain the pros and cons of different solutions (if there is more than one). In terms of actual development work, I am architecting most of the themes or features. Depending on the complexity of the job I either implement it myself or delegate it to other developers in the team while keeping myself available for unblocking, clarification, or further research on the matter.
