Hi there! I’m Jay Cano and for more than 15 years I devoted myself to software engineering and education. My career has taken me through very interesting areas, starting with some research in AI, all the way to app development and cloud architecture. For the last six or seven years I have specialised in full-stack web development, having worked in some big projects with thousands of users using technologies such as Javascript/Typescript, Angular, React, and AWS. I’m an experienced teacher, something I love and try to do at every opportunity. I have taught at academies and universities, organised workshops, and mentored professionals and entrepreneurs at different stages of their careers. During my career, I have taught not just technical skills like programming and software design, but also entrepreneurship, management, and interpersonal skills.
