I'm an experienced full-stack developer who has been working as a freelancer for over 10 years now. Right now I'm focused a lot on developing with Elixir, but most of my time I have spent working on projects with PHP. I love creating software that's usable, testable and maintainable. Front-end wise my current framework of choice is VueJS. My projects range from short term projects for smaller customers to bigger and longer projects with bigger companies. I write, nurture and love clean, testable architectures. Language doesn't matter (PHP/C/Rust/Golang/Typescript/Python/Java). I eat two technology stacks and a Linux meal a day. How is that possible? After 15 years of programming, you start to not be in love with your toys anymore like a kid, and treat them as tools instead. What starts to matter after reaching a certain level is expressing ideas with code, not the code itself. It's the ideas that you share with your collegues, as well with the machine, that solve real-world problems that matter. Tools are just that, and in our area of expertise, they change over time quite rapidly. What stays relatively constant are the terminology, the algorithms, and the train of thoughts for solving a specific problem, given a specific scenario. Having worked as a Scrum Master, what matters is also the process of creating software, managing risks and punching the project through any unknowns which might come along.
