I’m a technology enthusiast who loves building innovative tech. I've been working on a lot of different projects for different clients both enterprise and small businesses. Some of the companies I've worked for include AXA Assistance, Zurich Insurance Group, Vienna Insurance Group, Siemens AG, T-Mobile Austria, Diners Club Bank AG, and more. I've been tutoring for and advocating robust backend API development from design to deploy with TDD and SOLID principles and with particular attention to security making sure to test and cover against OWASP-documented vulnerabilities. I've been involved with configuring and creating an Elastic cloud installation, structuring logs from different sources, and creating different dashboards on Kibana. Recently I have built with Gustaffo in Vienna, Austria, a digitalized guest journey for a different number of Hotels. Our solution is a mobile application integrated with our own web services designed on a microservices architecture. The solution works tightly with our Property Management Systems and lets users perform from their mobile device the check-in, signing of the registration card through digital signature, room service requests, web checkout, and payment. Other recent implementations include a mobile application for Diners Club Austria. And more. I've built different high load web applications that handle to this day from 6M - 10M monthly hits.

In my experience, writing clean code is more important than ever. Systems become more and more complex, more and more people are working on the same code base and languages provide more and more features. All this trends can easier be dealt with by keeping code simple, clean, well-tested and documented. Building well-designed systems is hard, but it is even harder to keep them that way while adding new features and ironing out bugs. This is especially important in C++ where it is so easy to shoot yourself in the foot just because there are multiple ways to do so. Writing clean and modern C++ code is the key to contain the language's complexity and avoid common pitfalls associated with it.
