**Problem Solving** and **optimizing JavaScript** for **speed** and **reliability** is my favourite activity! // **Continuous Learning** is a way of life. Started out as a **backend** developer in **2007** for a small studio owned by friends, mostly working with **PHP** and **MySQL** on a **LAMP** stack, serving **bespoke solutions** with various **CMS**'s, including **WordPress**. Transitioned slowly over time into **frontend** using **jQuery** and worked mostly as a **frontend engineer** until **2017**. Was out of the job market for a while due to health reasons, but thankfully spent some of that time **updating skills** and **filling gaps** in my knowledge. Have been working **fullstack** again since **February** **2023** - mostly on a **LAMP** stack, touching on **Vue.js**, **Laravel**, **Wordpress**, **MySQL**, **Linux server management**, general **CI/CD** and **containerization**. Have also been working on a project writing a **highly dynamic frontend** with **pure JS** against a **.NET API** I usually have some **personal** **projects** cooking just to **challenge** **myself** to **learn new things** and expand my library of **encountered problems** and **solutions**. Most recently I'm writing a simple **2D game engine** in **pure JS** with **JSDoc** for fun.
