I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I've been a developer since 1998 and a full stack web developer since 2004, I have 19 years as a web developer, with languages like PHP (19+ yrs.), Javascript (19+ yrs.), NodeJS (4+ yrs.), VueJS (5+ yrs.), ReactJS (2+ yrs.), I also have a college degree in System Analysis from UTN. I get excited every time my favorite languages and tools release a new feature. I love to learn new things, so sometimes I go on and on talking about development all day with my dev friends. In 2012 I co-founded a startup called aluGuest (it was operative until 2017), a platform for temporary accommodation rental. I built the architecture for aluGuest from zero. I was able to gather a small but solid team for both web development and design to solve our needs, at the time, ReactJS, VueJS or even Node did not exist yet, or they were in very early stages (beta versions or prior), so I built a solid platform using jQuery, PHP, MySQL and MongoDB, the platform was very fast and bullet proof, to process credit cards and handle money, we didn't have any security breached and the code built was very robust. Later in 2017 I learned VueJS. I become part of several projects using it. I participated in a very large VueJS project for the Argentina government (a Transportation Agency), and other private held companies’ projects in the most diverse applications, I also rebuild my ex partner's (from aluGuest) company’s ecommerce platform (a small temp apartment rental agency in Buenos Aires) Welcome2BA, using NuxtJS (a VueJS framework) and PHP 7. In the latest years I worked with ReactJS, NextJS and some minor VueJS projects. I also worked in backend creating APIs and batch applications in NodeJS and PHP. I love technology because is one of the greatest things that help us to evolve as human beings. I still remember when I saw a computer for the first time, it was amazing and today I'm still fascinated. For that reason, I decided to study Computer Science for several years, my goal was to turn into a software engineer, a goal that I achieved in 2016. Before this, I was learning how to create websites using HTML, it was sniffing around in the source code on every single page that I visited. First, I coded a single index.html page, and later I was figuring out how to publish it for free with no success. I had no time to discover it that day because I ran out of time in the cyber cafe. A long time later, when I bought my first computer I used to spend a lot of time in front of it, coding pages without any kind of interaction or purpose, just as a hobby, however, this helped me to understand a little part of the internet through those files. It was difficult due to the few online resources, but I could learn a new programming language for developing dynamic web applications, yes, it was PHP. I learned it by visiting web forums where people from anywhere with an internet connection could ask and write solutions to several topics. I continued using it for a long time, and I also included technologies such as MySQL, Javascript, and CSS at the same time that I was continuing my learning path, fortunately, the internet connection was increasing and improving. It was not until 2016 that I decided to move to a different technology stack, so I jumped from LAMP to the MERN stack, and today I keep studying all the related stuff to these topics. Nowadays, I would like to know about Arduino and several tools of IoT, so I'm constantly watching videos and reading how-to's as well.

In my current project, I am in charge of the configuration of the CI/CD process and stores, apart from mentoring and development tasks. Last month, we released the 2.0.0 version of this loan project after a couple of months, and it was a success. Regarding my most challenging projects: In the first place, I have been working in the fintech sector at True North and Telecom. There have been a lot of challenges there: integration with different providers, security risk management, and new IA discoveries that transform the way we solve problems. We need to be one step ahead of all these changes. Additionally, I developed two libraries: one was an Android geolocation library where I used different location providers, and the other was a phone number formatted library, both containing a great deal of logic and test cases to improve the quality of the products. Lastly, another challenging project is my MBA thesis, which aims to know if a bidder is going to be adjudicated in the building sector. I have been learning not only a lot of things connected with data science and machine learning in this project but also extracting and preparing data to train and improve algorithms. To conclude, I am interested in being part of an amazing remote culture that helps me grow professionally and travel around the world.
