Role Overview

Join our team as a Software Developer to enhance the development speed of Peny, a cutting-edge communication platform for municipalities. With a fully designed v1 UI/UX, you'll work alongside our senior developers to bring this revolutionary platform to life, streamlining municipal communication and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers to implement and optimize features of the Peny platform.
• Contribute to the development of a centralized communication platform that consolidates municipal updates and interactions.
• Implement AI-powered chat functionalities to interpret and respond to resident inquiries based on city documents.
• Develop interactive features such as municipal maps and resident-to-municipality messaging.
• Ensure platform stability and performance through robust testing and debugging practices.
• Utilize and integrate our current technology stack, including Ruby on Rails, Python, Postgres, Redis, Hotwire, and StimulusJS.
• Participate in DevOps processes using tools like Github Projects, Github Actions, Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and Python.
• Experience with Postgres and Redis for database management.
• Familiarity with Hotwire, Minitest, Langchain/langgraph, and StimulusJS.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools: Github Projects, Github Actions, Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• Ability to work with Rubymine and Sentry for development and error monitoring.

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions.
• Previous work on communication platforms or municipal systems.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools like Figma.
