Full-stack Developer (Java/Spring/React) - FT Freelance - Worldwide

Role Overview

Join our team at Quantics as a Full-stack Developer where you will contribute to the development of a cutting-edge supply chain planning solution tailored for enterprise manufacturing companies. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our existing modules, including demand forecasting and demand planning, and developing new features like the demand-driven inventory management module using the DDMRP methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services with a strong emphasis on the Spring Framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance and maintain SQL databases, preferably using Postgres.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and manage code with Git in a CI/CD environment.
• Communicate effectively in English to coordinate with team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in the Spring Framework.
• Solid experience in designing REST APIs.
• Good skills in SQL, with a preference for Postgres.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in React frontend development with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of modern CSS methodologies such as CSS Modules, Tailwind CSS, or Sass.
