As the IT Systems Engineer for Bluebird Care UK & Ireland, you will be predominately managing 2nd line and 3rd line support requests. Ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services to our staff and external Franchise Partners,
Your key role will see you being responsible for administration, configuration and security of the Microsoft 365 tenants, ensuring that all functions including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot, endpoint protection, backup solutions, and application management are meticulously monitored, secure, and correctly configured based on business requirements and agreed policies
Reporting to the Head of IT , you will be supporting with the delivery of IT projects and ensuring compliance with any certifications and IT policies.

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a 2nd/3rd line IT support role, with a significant focus on Microsoft 365 administration, SaaS platforms, and infrastructure support
- Proven experience in managing, securing, and optimising Microsoft 365 environments, including deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
- Demonstrable experience of Microsoft 365 migrations, including complex scenarios like M365 tenant-to-tenant and physical/on-premise infrastructure to M365
- High level of proficiency with modern endpoint management solutions, particularly Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, for device configuration, security, patching, and upgrades
- Strong understanding and practical application of IT security principles and best practices, including proactive monitoring, incident response, data security measures for cloud services (M365/SaaS), and endpoint protection.
- Experience with network infrastructure support, encompassing TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and Wi-Fi technologies, including troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Proven ability in managing key SaaS applications (user administration, security configuration, vendor liaison), alongside managing backup and disaster recovery processes for critical systems and data
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration is highly desirable, as is experience in developing comprehensive technical documentation and support guides
