Fullstack Web developer (Wordpress, API) - Part-time - LATAM/NA

Project Overview:

We're launching a lean, privacy-first MVP with a web-based interface built on WordPress and a lightweight backend. The product integrates OpenAI's GPT-4o API and may include real-time search capabilities (e.g., xAI Live Search or similar). We're looking for a security-aware developer to bring this vision to life efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate GPT-4o API into WordPress frontend workflows
• Set up and manage lightweight backend services
• Implement privacy-first and secure development practices (e.g., E2E encryption, AWS Key Management, Firebase rules)
• Optionally integrate real-time search APIs
• Collaborate closely with the founder to align on rapid MVP execution

Required Experience:

• Strong experience integrating APIs (especially OpenAI / GPT-based APIs)
• Familiarity with WordPress or embedding AI tools in web frontends
• Awareness of secure development practices and privacy standards
• Ability to work independently and deliver on tight timelines
• Willingness to sign NDA (under New Mexico jurisdiction)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with live search APIs or real-time data integration
• Past work with early-stage MVPs or privacy-focused tech products
