Grain is an early-stage company focused on creating innovative solutions in the consumer AI app space around the memory layer. We are currently building our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to share with a group of ~100 beta testers. Our mission is to build the AI that remembers.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our team on a 1-3 month contract to help build and deploy our MVP. This is a fast-paced opportunity for a developer who thrives in startup environments and enjoys turning ideas into functional, customer-ready products.

You will work across our tech stack, focusing on:

Backend Development: Using Node.js and JavaScript to build and optimize server-side functionality.
Frontend Development: Utilizing Next.js and React to create an intuitive, seamless user interface.
AI Integration: Connecting and leveraging AI APIs to enhance the product's capabilities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Python, Node.js and JavaScript for backend development.
• Expertise in Next.js and React for frontend development.
• Experience building Chatbot in the past 2 years
• Familiarity with AI APIs and integrating them into applications.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience deploying applications on Vercel.
• Familiarity with consumer AI applications or startups
