Role Overview

Join Stacklist, a dynamic social networking platform, as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our scalable cloud services and real-time features across web, browser extensions, and mobile apps, all hosted on Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services utilizing Google Cloud Functions.
• Design and implement scalable, low-latency APIs to support the Stacklist platform and its ecosystem.
• Build and optimize real-time collaborative features, activity streams, and notification systems.
• Create API connectors for seamless integration with third-party services.
• Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality code.
• Communicate updates, challenges, and solutions proactively with team members.
• Monitor and improve backend performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and roadmap planning.

Required Skills

• Over 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture and experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in building fast, scalable APIs capable of handling significant workloads.
• Experience with real-time technologies such as WebSockets or server-sent events.
• Proven track record in developing collaboration tools, activity feeds, or notification systems.
• Skilled in integrating third-party APIs and establishing reliable system connections.
