My latest role was at Hitachi Asia Ltd. Singapore as a Lead UI/UX designer. I joined to assist developers with little to no design experience on various ongoing and upcoming large projects. I am part of the ICTB team, which provides a wide range of innovative and practical business and ICT solutions to enhance our customers' operations. Over the years, we have established an impressive track record of delivering excellent results, serving a diverse clientele that includes multinational, regional, and local companies. During my six years at Hitachi Asia, we secured numerous projects valued at an estimated $20-30 million. I was actively involved throughout the entire process, from pre-sales preparation and pitching to project completion. I consistently follow key processes in every project I undertake, starting with understanding requirements through stakeholder interviews, followed by user research. I collaborate closely with our project manager and development team during in-house development. I begin with iterative wireframing and then progress to high-fidelity design based on the required branding or a completely new one while gathering feedback. I maintain open communication through weekly meetings to provide regular updates. Cross-functional collaboration is essential for me in every project, and I conduct extensive testing on the product. Finally, I seek approval from stakeholders to ensure all objectives have been met. I entered the field of Creatives not by chance, but out of passion. I incorporated it into my computer curriculum during my ten years of teaching high school and college classes, and as a product trainer at microsoft customer service. Over the past 2 decades, I have continually enhanced my skills and still learn something new every day. As a Content Creator and Director, my expertise encompasses digital imaging and retouching for print and web design, final art, layout work, adaptation, photography, cinematography, and camera work. While in Singapore, I enhanced the portfolios of the companies I worked with by collaborating primarily with Japanese clients, including SONY, CANON, and FUJITSU, among others. Many of my projects have garnered both local and international recognition. Today, my aspiration as a UI/UX designer is to create more intuitive and engaging user experiences that effectively meet the needs of users while achieving business goals. I strive more to understand users deeply, incorporating their feedback into designs that enhance usability and accessibility. I aim to innovate and stay ahead of design trends, ensuring that my work not only solves problems but also delights users. Ultimately, a positive impact to society.
