Fullstack dev (Connect Code To API System) - Part-time - WW

We are seeking a skilled API Integration Specialist to assist in connecting our existing web HTML interface mediation management system with the backend of a service or system. This is a contract position that requires a deep understanding of web development and API integration. The code is already built out, and your role will be to ensure seamless connectivity and functionality between the front-end and back-end systems.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand the existing HTML interface and backend systems to identify integration points.
• Develop and implement API connections to enable communication between the web interface and backend services.
• Ensure data is correctly transmitted and received between the systems, maintaining data integrity and security.
• Debug and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the integration process, providing timely solutions.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure alignment and smooth operation of the integrated systems.
• Document the integration process and provide guidance for future maintenance and updates.

Required and Preferred Skills:

• Strong experience with API integration and web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and understanding of HTTP protocols.
• Familiarity with backend technologies and ability to understand server-side logic.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with specific backend technologies or platforms related to the existing system.
• Knowledge of OAuth or other authentication mechanisms.
• Prior experience in mediation management systems or similar applications.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
