Fullstack Software Engineer (Python / React / Swift+)
Location: Remote
Type: Full-time
Level: Mid to Senior
Reports to: Head of Engineering
About Us
We're an early-stage startup with a strong engineering culture, building technology in the crypto space. While we embrace the uncertainty and intensity that come with growth, we place a high value on reliability, quality, and maintainability in the systems we build.
We follow Agile and SCRUM practices, but we're not dogmatic. We believe in continuously improving our processes, reducing technical debt, and delivering a product that earns user trust through stability and polish — even if that sometimes means holding a release.
The Role
We're hiring a fullstack engineer to strengthen our team as we anticipate increased workload and growing complexity. This role is designed to be flexible: covering for teammates on leave, helping push critical features across the finish line, and reinforcing any part of the stack when needed.
If you're comfortable context-switching, know how to balance pragmatism with software craftsmanship, and want to work in a team that values thoughtful engineering — this is for you.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade software across the backend (Django/Python) and frontend (React).
- Occasionally support Swift-based mobile development (nice to have, not mandatory).
- Contribute to improving engineering processes, test coverage, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver polished user experiences.
- Take ownership of your work, ensuring quality, reliability, and maintainability at every step.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, offering clear and constructive feedback.
- Help maintain team momentum during vacations, unexpected absences, or delivery crunches.

Solid knowledge of JavaScript and React.
Experience working on production systems with a focus on code quality, testability, and uptime.

Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS or DigitalOcean).
Exposure to financial, crypto, or fintech systems.
An appreciation for good tooling, clean abstractions, and systems that scale predictably.
A sense of humor and a collaborative, no-blame mindset.
What We Offer
A role with autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful impact.

Competitive compensation and the potential for equity.
A distributed, remote-friendly team with a shared commitment to excellence.
