AI software engineer.

As a Software Engineer for AI Products at Supernomic, you will be an architect of the revolution against enterprise tech waste. You will build the core platform and intelligent agents that power our mission to reduce our customers' technology time and money by 99%. This is not about optimizing existing workflows; it's about building the Al that makes them obsolete.

Responsibilities

Design Autonomous Agents: Design and build the production and training systems for autonomous LLM-powered agents that utilize tools for retrieval, code execution, and analysis to solve open-ended enterprise problems with high-quality, citable answers.

Refine Core Models: Partner with our core research team to refine the expansion, reformulation, querying, and summarization of our models against our unified knowledge graph and diverse external data sources.

Build Robust Evaluations: Devise a well-distributed set of multi-turn Evals that help us hill-climb on performance and capture regressions for our deep research and optimization agents.

Create Intelligent Agents: Design, build, and deploy the fleets of Al agents that form our product's core. These agents will autonomously perform data analysis, identify waste, recommend optimizations, and ultimately execute solutions.

Tackle the "New: Work on our most audacious hypotheses, such as "Agentic Precision Software Generation," building systems that can analyze a need and write targeted code to solve it, fundamentally replacing consultant-led custom development.

Collaborate with the Front Line: Work in a tight loop with our Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) and customers to deeply understand the "why" behind customer problems and ensure the platform is constantly evolving based on real-world outcomes.

Qualifications

• Research & Deep Learning Experience: ideally proven research experience with large-scale LLMs and Deep Learning systems.
• Strong Post-Training Skills: Familiarity with both supervised (SFT) and reinforcement learning (RL) techniques, including reward formulation and a strong sense for evaluation.
• Technical Excellence: Strong programming skills, particularly in Python. Our stack includes NextJS, TypeScript, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgresql. Experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) is a significant plus.
• Agent Product Intuition: A strong product intuition, especially for Agentic products, with the ability to make tradeoffs in developing an end-to-end agent (training, model architecture, prompting, etc.).
• Extreme Ownership: A willingness to unblock yourself at any level of the stack and take ownership of the end-product experience. You thrive on being given a high-level goal and figuring out how to achieve it.
• A Passion for the Mission: You are genuinely excited by the audacious goal of eliminating enterprise complexity and building disruptive technology.
• Experience: 4+ years of industry experience in a product-centric software engineering role.

You'll have no product manager to worry about besides the founder/CEO - you have end to end responsibility on what gets build and how it performs.

At the deployment phase, it might require travel to client site to support. This role is strictly for EU candidates
