Senior Fullstack Developer/ Advisor - Part-time - EMEA/APAC

The Role

We're looking for a part-time, senior Full-Stack Developer to join our founding team and help drive product development, oversee offshore developers, and shape our technical architecture. You’ll work closely with the founder and business team, helping us rapidly prototype, validate, and deploy AI-powered strategy tools while maintaining high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and recommend the ideal tech stack for rapid AI tool development
• Build and ship end-to-end SaaS products using modern full-stack frameworks
• Oversee and validate output from 1–2 offshore developers
• Translate business requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions
• Work with low-code/rapid prototyping tools (e.g., Replit, Cursor) to accelerate development
• Integrate multiple AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) and third-party services
• Create reusable templates and components for faster development cycles
• Implement QA processes and ensure tools are fully tested before launch
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Iterate rapidly based on user feedback and product metrics

Required Technical Skills

Frontend Development

• React, Next.js, or similar modern JS frameworks
• TypeScript for safe and scalable development
• Responsive UI/UX with modern CSS frameworks
• Component-based architecture and performance optimization

Backend Development

• Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) and RESTful API development
• Authentication/authorization systems
• Database design and optimization (SQL/NoSQL)
• Event-driven architecture and webhooks

AI/ML Integration

• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, etc.)
• Prompt engineering, streaming responses, error handling
• Cost and rate-limit management for AI services

Infrastructure/DevOps

• CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Monitoring/logging tools
• Secure environment setup and management

Development Practices

• Git version control and agile methodologies
• Unit, integration, and E2E testing
• Code review and documentation standards

Required Experience

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience
• Proven ability to oversee and validate work from junior/offshore developers
• Track record of shipping products quickly in lean, fast-paced teams
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience designing and scaling modern SaaS applications
• Ability to collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with low-code tools for rapid prototyping (Replit, Cursor, etc.)
• Previous leadership experience in startup environments
• Understanding of business strategy or planning tools
• Familiarity with multiple cloud providers
• Portfolio of AI-powered applications
