Nikola N. - developer in Bulgaria
Experienced and enthusiastic WordPress developer. Founder and Lead Developer at Paiyak Development

GabrovoBulgaria

I learned programming basics in high school and after I graduated, I started with web development back in 2010. I did a one month internship at a local WordPress shop and then started working with them, building custom WordPress sites for their customers. After a year and a few months, I felt like I could no longer grow much there due to the monotonous workload, lack of more challenging projects, and high throughput expectations, so I started freelancing. I knew WordPress fairly well, so I focused on that. After year or two of freelancing, I opened up my own company, where we focused on building custom WordPress solutions for customers. The company never grew a lot due to my own shortcomings as a manager, but I did form a few friendships and managed to share some of my knowledge with my coworkers. For the last 6 years I've been primarily working together with a SaaS company. Helping them develop and expand their software. That's where I got started with React and Laravel and I've gotten pretty comfortable with them. It's been quite a journey seeing the software grow a lot in terms of both complexity and userbase. Overall I feel like I'm best suited to help you out with WordPress-related questions - so if you've got one of those, feel free to hit me up. However, since I also have pretty decent experience with other technologies as well, I might have some useful nuggets of knowledge to share about non-WordPress questions. If you feel like I could be of help, just reach out and we'll flesh out some details to help us both understand if we're a good fit or not.
