Senior Frontend Developer (React, Firebase) - Part-time - EMEA

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our seed-stage team with high talent density. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to help bring our innovative product to production, utilizing advanced canvas manipulation techniques to build a scientifically-accurate measurement interface.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Firebase to ensure seamless integration with our back-end systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end features using HTML Canvas or WebAssembly.
• Collaborate with the back-end team to ensure smooth integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Leverage basic Firebase knowledge to prevent and resolve database-related issues.
• Participate in live coding technical interviews and deliver quality code under time constraints.
• Contribute to the overall success of the product by bringing fresh ideas and approaches to front-end development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in front-end development, and strong in React development.
• Intermediate understanding with Firebase for basic database management and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical skills with a passion for creating clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Language: English fluency is preferred, but candidates with less fluent English from Eastern Europe (especially Russian speakers) are encouraged to apply.
