AI Image & Front-end graphics Developer

We're building a browser-based product visualization tool that projects customer logos onto product images with realistic perspective, texturing, and surface adaptation. We need someone who can bridge web graphics development and AI image technology integration to create a complete solution that balances quality, performance, and cost. We looking to use external API's wherever possible to offload complexity.

Technical Challenges

• Transforming 2D logos with proper perspective distortion and realistic texturing
• Working with image data including depth maps, masks, and material properties
• Integrating external AI services for diffusion, depth estimation, and background removal
• Handling various product types with different surfaces and contexts
• Building a performant rendering pipeline that works at scale
• Identifying edge cases and implementing fallback strategies

• Implementing a reliable depth estimation system for flat product images
• Rendering transformed, realistic-looking logo projections in the browser
• Building an AI pipeline that produces consistent, high-quality results
• Creating fallback strategies when automatic generation fails
• Optimizing for reasonable processing times and resource usage
• Balancing automation with opportunities for manual refinement
• Setting up a stable, extensible foundation for future development

Ideal Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with web-based graphics technologies
• Practical implementation expertise with AI image generation/manipulation tools
• Experience integrating third-party AI services into production systems
• Understanding of performance optimization for browser-based applications
• Ability to balance technical tradeoffs between quality, cost, and complexity

Note: Some aspects of this system are already partially solved. We're looking for implementation expertise to help integrate and optimize existing solutions rather than building everything from scratch.
