Remote - Full Stack Developer. First Tech Hire at Founder Led Startup

The successful applicant will be the first hire at a bootstrapped startup and will be working directly alongside the founder who is an experienced entrepreneur with a previous exit. The applicant should be startup minded and exhibit the following qualities:

• willingness to prioritize development speed and efficiency. For example adopting new frameworks or utilizing third party packages/providers if it makes business sense to do so
• ability to work across the entire tech stack including frontend, backend and devops.
• expert in JavaScript based front end and back end development (React/Next.JS, Node.JS/Express or similar) Auth, RBAC/ABAC, ORM's, PostreSQL, Git, etc, etc
• Solid understanding of Dev Ops processes and technologies (CI/CD, docker, AWS, etc). You don't need to be a Dev Ops expert but should be capable of driving decision making and working alongside external consultants/advisors.

In addition to the above, the successful applicant should have a positive outlook on the impact of AI and be familiar with AI technology from both a development perspective (eg Cursor, etc) and a product integration perspective (LLM API's, Langchain, etc)

Above all else you should be excited and self motivated to come to work and build every day. Attitude and mindset is more important than skill and experience.
