Senior Full-Stack Developer (AI E-Commerce PWA) - Part-time - EU/LATAM/NA

About the Project

Join us in building a cutting-edge AI-powered Progressive Web App that enables users to create and customize foam inserts for hard cases. Think: instant object recognition via photo, real-time layout suggestions, drag-and-drop editing, seamless Shopify checkout - all in a fast, intuitive experience. Our MVP is due by September.

What You’ll Build

• A mobile-optimized Progressive Web App (PWA) using React or Vue
• AI object recognition using ChatGPT API or similar, and layout suggestion logic
• Custom layout builder on a 2D canvas, with drag, drop, resize, and rotate tools
• Shopify checkout integration, including cart logic and upsell features
• Seamless handoff between mobile photo input and desktop customization
• Database integration using Supabase or equivalent (optional for MVP)
• AI assistant for typed layout queries ("I have a Sony A7II and 4 SD cards…")

You Should Have

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience (React, Vue, TypeScript preferred)
• Proven experience with Shopify APIs, headless commerce, or custom Shopify integrations
• Experience working with AI APIs (OpenAI, Deep Learning CV tools, etc.)
• Familiarity with PWA best practices, responsive design, and fast-loading apps
• Bonus: experience with Supabase, Pinecone, or other vector databases
• Comfort building canvas-based editors or custom UI tools (like Canva or Figma lite)
