About the role

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to own and evolve our entire growth engine. This is a senior, strategic role with real authority and real accountability. The mandate is simple: build a scalable, resilient marketing system that is driven by data, not opinions, and does not rely on a single traffic source.

We currently spend approximately $1m USD per year on paid media, primarily across Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Performance is strong, but the system is fragile. Growth is constrained by channel concentration and repeated execution of the same playbook. This role exists to remove that risk through intelligent, evidence-based decision-making.

This role is for someone who treats marketing as an applied science. Every decision must be supported by data, clear hypotheses, and measurable outcomes. Intuition can guide questions, but data decides direction.

What Success Looks Like

Within 6–12 months, marketing is no longer dependent on a single channel. Decisions are made using clearly defined metrics, experiments are run with intent, and capital is allocated based on validated performance rather than habit or gut feel. We have multiple proven acquisition paths and a repeatable system for discovering the next one.Core Responsibilities

● Own the full marketing strategy across acquisition, retention, and brand, with all decisions grounded in data
● Audit the existing marketing system, including spend efficiency, channel mix, creative performance, attribution models, and funnel conversion metrics
● Design and run a disciplined evaluate → act → reflect loop, using data to validate or kill initiatives quickly
● Define and manage a structured experimentation budget, allocating a clear percentage of total spend to testing new channels, creatives, offers, and growth hypotheses
● Establish what “good” looks like through benchmarks, leading indicators, and success thresholds before spend is scaled
● Expand acquisition beyond Meta into new channels, validating each through measurable performance rather than assumptions
● Translate successful experiments into documented, scalable playbooks
● Build, hire, and lead a marketing team that operates with analytical rigour and accountability
● Work closely with product, data, and leadership to ensure marketing decisions align with broader business objectives

How You Think and Work

● You make decisions using evidence, not anecdotes or trend-chasing
● You are comfortable being proven wrong quickly and adjusting based on what the data shows
● You design experiments with clear hypotheses, success criteria, and post-mortems
● You treat marketing spend as capital allocation and can clearly articulate expected return before scaling
● You know how to separate correlation from causation and avoid vanity metrics

Experience and Background

● Proven experience leading data-driven marketing or growth at a scaling SaaS, subscription, or digital product business
● An understanding of the coaching/client fitness landscape is crucial.
● Hands-on experience managing seven-figure paid media budgets with clear performance accountability
● Demonstrated success expanding beyond a single dominant acquisition channel
● Strong understanding of analytics, attribution, experimentation frameworks, and performance measurement
● Experience building and leading teams that execute against measurable outcomes, not activity metrics
