Founder and CTO

As Chief Software Architect for Agilis Ltd, I manage the development of new systems by identifying, communicating, and implementing best system architecture. In addition, I use my knowledge of new technologies and methodologies to review and improve on existing systems. I also supervise a software development team, training the team members in the knowledge and skills necessary to complete projects and providing them with guidance on best practices in systems and software development and design. My goal is to foster a workplace environment that is positive, collaborative and empowering. My additional duties include: - Managing risk identification and risk mitigation strategies. - Introducing coding standards and enforcing them through code reviews. - Ensuring projects adhere to the constraints of budget and scheduling and fit the company’s strategic vision. One of my biggest satisfactions of my job is implementing new technologies to help our clients achieve its objectives. I introduced Team Foundations Services, which improved the current testing processes through the development of user stories, tasks, and deployment, resulting in shortened project completion time. I also adopted developer’s standards that streamlined the software development process and reduced costly delays. I consistently go above and beyond my duties to add value to Agilis. I assist in operations in the blockchain industry, providing additional revenue and innovation. I also help with providing Microsoft Courses as a certified Microsoft Trainer, giving Agilis more presence in the market.

Chief Software Architect

I established programming standards and project documentation requirements as a Software Development Manager and oversaw application development tasks that included planning, estimating, design, development, testing, and implementation. As a manager, I provided mentoring and support for a team of four developers and four business leads/testers. One of the biggest successes I had as manager was when I effectively managed the project for the resolution of a data issues caused by systems malfunction. I encouraged unity and collaboration among the team members rather than blame-shifting, which dramatically improved the morale of the team and boosted the internal team rating (through the ‘Best Companies’ survey) from one star to three stars (the maximum one team can get). The following are highlights of the value I brought to EC English Holdings: - Introduced automated testing that provided an improvement in quality. - Increased delivery of projects by 75% while adhering to budget and time constraints. - Promoted excellent team and cross-departmental relationships.

Software Development Manager

I adopted new practices and technologies that included prototyping and Agile Development as a Solutions Architect. I had a leading role in implementing Scrum within EC English Holdings, a process that took three years and helped every aspect of work. I also partnered with business stakeholders to address business vision and requirements and align software development lifecycle process with business process and client needs. The following are highlights of the value I brought to EC English Holdings: - Provided internal training to equip the team with knowledge of new technologies. - Implemented Scrum practices. - Identified, designed, and implemented a system architecture for an existing in-house system, achieving a significant improvement in quality and integration.

Part time teaching in a BCS Diploma for IT course and various Microsoft Courses such as in Asp.Net,MVC, SQL Server etc.

Key Training Services

I improved the functionality of existing systems by providing maintenance, making enhancements, and fixing errors and malfunctions. I managed a team of developers and gathered requirements from stakeholders. A highlight of my position was a project I undertook designing, developing, and deploying an online trading platform used internationally by clients to manage financial transactions.

I was involved throughout the life cycle of a project from meeting the clients and building the requirements to designing software, managing the project team, and testing, refining, and deploying the finished product. I guaranteed that projects were delivered on time and adhered to the highest standards.
