About Our Client
Our client is a fast‑growing, San Francisco-based ERP and workflow platform focused on modernizing global supply chain operations through a cloud solution. Recently backed by Series A funding, the company is rapidly expanding, building a team in the Philippines to partner with U.S. counterparts in delivering end‑to‑end customer implementations in a highly technical, build‑focused environment.
Job Description
- Analyze customer operational workflows and translate them into structured data models, system schemas, and configuration frameworks within the platform.
- Configure business rules, process flows, validations, and operational logic-ideal for those who enjoy designing clear, organized, and logical systems.
- Collaborate with U.S. and Philippines engineering and implementation teams to support integration logic across Shopify, 3PL providers, accounting platforms, and internal services.
- Interpret payloads, map fields, and help maintain consistent, accurate data flow across integrated systems.
- Prepare initial system configurations, including products, locations, customers, field mappings, and workflows.
- Co‑lead user acceptance testing by creating test cases, validating system behavior, and ensuring predictable performance across different scenarios.
The Successful Applicant
- Exceptional English communication skills (both written and spoken at C1-C2 level) and comfortable collaborating with U.S.-based teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or another related technical discipline; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 4-5+ years of experience in a systems-focused role such as Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar.
- Solid grasp of relational data concepts, including entities, relationships, keys, constraints, and normalization principles.
- Ability to design and evaluate data schemas and business objects that accurately mirror real operational processes.
- Comfortable working with structured data formats (e.g., JSON) and familiar with API-driven integrations such as REST and webhooks; troubleshooting experience is an advantage.
- Strong SQL proficiency is highly desirable.
- Experience with workflow, automation, or configuration-based platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier, low-code solutions, ERP/CRM workflow tools) is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capability to break down ambiguous processes into clearly defined workflows.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in data, configurations, and system behavior.
- Capable of working asynchronously and documenting system decisions clearly, including requirements, mappings, and workflows.
