Role Overview

Join our dynamic, fast-growing e-commerce startup as the Founding Engineer for a cutting-edge Visitor Identification Platform. This remote role allows you to architect and own the entire technical stack, directly impacting business growth and product development. You'll collaborate closely with the founder to make foundational decisions on infrastructure, data pipelines, and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop the Visitor Identification Platform from the ground up.
• Implement robust data acquisition, management, and processing pipelines.
• Design scalable, secure, and reliable platform infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the founder to align technical execution with strategic business goals.
• Take full ownership of engineering decisions, trade-offs, and delivery outcomes.
• Establish best practices to ensure the platform's long-term maintainability and scalability.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of identity resolution, including matching, enriching, and acting on user signals.
• Proven experience in building Visitor Identification Platforms or closely related systems.
• Demonstrated ability to build products end-to-end, from concept to working product.
• High ownership mentality, taking initiative to resolve issues independently.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to navigate incomplete specifications.
