Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

Join us in creating an innovative web app to replace our existing WordPress membership platform for We Teach League, a rapidly expanding League of Legends education business. This isn't just another website; it's a dynamic, content-rich platform akin to a 'Netflix for skill improvement.' You'll be instrumental in developing a robust infrastructure to support our structured coaching programs and vast library of over 10,000 VODs.

Responsibilities

• Develop a subscription-based access system with Chargebee integration.
• Implement a structured content system to manage a library of approximately 120 champions and 10,000+ videos.
• Build a scalable video platform utilizing technologies like Mux, Vimeo, or S3.
• Create a simple internal tool enabling coaches to efficiently upload VODs.
• Develop a fast, clean frontend using our existing design system with Next.js and React.
• Design and maintain a clean, scalable architecture, ensuring system reliability and performance.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in building real web applications or SaaS products.
• Proficiency in Next.js and React for frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js for backend development.
• Experience with headless CMS solutions, such as Payload or similar.
• Familiarity with Chargebee API for managing subscriptions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with video/content platforms and subscription systems.
• Familiarity with headless CMS technologies.
• A passion for gaming, particularly if you play League of Legends.
