Lead Data Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion solutions using Cloud Native, Big Data related technologies (including configuration management, monitoring, debugging and performance tuning)
• Manage code review and dev testing of solutions to ensure it meets best practice specifications
• Build collaborative partnerships with data solution architects and key individuals within other functional groups

Requirements

• Solid background in Software Engineering for more than 5 years
• Advance experienced in Data Software Engineering. PROD experience in building data ingestion pipelines
• Deep understanding of SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, relational schemas, and SQL optimization
• Programming Languages: Python/Java/Scala and SQL
• Cloud-Native stack: Databricks, AWS
• Big Data stack: Spark Core, Kafka, Kafka Connect, Airflow
• Motivated, independent, efficient, and able to handle several projects
• Practical experience in performance tuning, optimization, and problem analysis
• English proficiency: B2+
