Full-Stack Developer WW-FT

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our team remotely. This role is pivotal in building, maintaining, and enhancing our software platform with a focus on security and scalability. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, influence technical decisions, and contribute to the development of a secure software system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of our software.
• Design and implement new features while enhancing existing functionalities.
• Create secure APIs and backend services.
• Work with databases and manage complex data structures.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms.
• Adhere to secure coding and software development best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure security, performance, and reliability.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Maintain and enhance application security.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, deployments, and development environments.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly.
• Participate actively in technical planning and architectural decisions.
• Lead projects from development through to deployment.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and development methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity and secure software development.
• Proven experience in building and utilizing APIs.
• Proficiency in working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Capability to work independently and manage projects autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a remote team.

Nice to Have

• Expertise in web application security, API security, and secure data handling.
• Familiarity with handling vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
• Experience with secure API and database design.
• Knowledge of secrets and credential management.
• Understanding of dependency and vulnerability management.
• Experience in security testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Knowledge of secure cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and incident prevention.
• Adherence to OWASP security principles.
