Kotlin Multi-platform Developer (Frontend, Kotlin, Jetpack) - Full Time - Americas

Role Overview

LDARtools is seeking a skilled Kotlin Multi-platform Developer to assist in rewriting our flagship software's mobile app. The project involves transitioning from Xamarin to Kotlin multi-platform, utilizing Jetpack Compose for UI development. This role focuses on delivering high-quality Android and iOS implementations efficiently, with designs already prepared in Figma.

Responsibilities

• Rewrite the existing mobile application from Xamarin to Kotlin multi-platform.
• Implement the Android version within 3-4 weeks and the iOS version in the subsequent 2+ weeks.
• Utilize Jetpack Compose to develop and refine the user interface as per the designs provided in Figma.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the app meets performance and user experience standards.
• Potential involvement in a second app project during the interim period.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin for multi-platform development.
• Demonstrated experience in developing hybrid applications for both iOS and Android.
• Expertise in Jetpack Compose for UI development.
• Ability to start projects immediately and work efficiently with minimal onboarding.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in American time zones (Canada, U.S., South America) is preferred.
• Previous experience with Figma for design implementation.
