Senior Full-Stack Mobile Engineer (React Native/ Backend) - PT/FT - EU

Role Summary

We are looking for a senior, hands-on full-stack engineer to build and ship a native P2P marketplace mobile app (iOS & Android), similar to Blocket or Facebook Marketplace.

While an early prototype was web-based, the production platform will be fully native using React Native (Expo). Most product flows and UI are already defined. The role focuses on execution, integration, and production readiness, with one technical owner across mobile and backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship a production-ready React Native app (iOS & Android)
• Own backend development using Node.js or Supabase
• Implement escrow payments (Rocker) and identity verification (BankID)
• Design secure APIs, database schemas (PostgreSQL), and auth flows
• Implement multi-language (i18n), multi-currency, and platform fees
• Ensure GDPR compliance and EU data residency
• Publish to App Store and Google Play
• Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code

Required Skills & Experience

Must-have

• Strong experience with React Native (production apps)
• Backend experience with Node.js or Supabase
• PostgreSQL and API design
• Third-party API integrations (payments, auth, notifications)
• End-to-end ownership mindset
• Fluent English

Nice-to-have

• Marketplace, fintech, or payment system experience
• Expo, TypeScript, App Store / Play Store releases
• BankID or similar identity verification systems
• GDPR / EU-regulated environments
