Fullstack Mobile Developer (React Native, Supabase) - PT - NA/LATAM/EMEA

Project Overview

Client has built the front-end of a mindfulness/breathwork app in Lovable — onboarding flow, practice library (~100 practices), custom ritual builder, and a "choose for me" recommendation flow are functionally complete on the front end. No backend exists yet. We need a developer to take this from prototype to a production-ready app shipped to both the App Store and Google Play, working from a detailed written spec and the existing Lovable build as reference.

Responsibilities

• Build a single React Native codebase targeting both iOS and Google Play from the existing Lovable front end and written spec
• Stand up backend infrastructure: Supabase (auth, data), Stripe/RevenueCat (in-app purchases), push notifications (local + remote)
• Integrate pre-generated narrated audio (11Labs-generated files) into each practice, syncing playback timing to on-screen content and breathwork pacing
• Recreate custom animations already built on the front end (organic "diffuse color" pulse/heartbeat effect, milestone and ritual-completion animations)
• Implement haptic feedback tied to practice pacing and completions
• Architect and implement object storage + CDN delivery for a growing library of audio practices and ambient soundscapes

Must-Have

• Shipped production React Native apps to both the App Store and Google Play (not prototypes)
• Demonstrated custom animation work — organic motion or non-trivial visual effects beyond standard Animated API usage
• Experience writing or integrating native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) modules from a React Native project
• Supabase or equivalent backend integration experience
• In-app purchase implementation (Stripe, RevenueCat, or equivalent)
• Push notification implementation (local and remote)
• Comfortable working from a detailed written spec without design handholding
• Experience designing object storage + CDN delivery for media assets in a production mobile app (e.g., S3 + CloudFront, Cloudflare R2, Supabase Storage, Firebase Storage) — able to recommend the architecture, not just wire up playback

Strongly Preferred

• WidgetKit (iOS) or Jetpack Glance (Android) home screen widget experience
• HealthKit or Health Connect integration
• Core Haptics (iOS) or custom VibrationEffect (Android)
• Experience with variable/display web fonts (e.g., Cormorant Garamond) in a native context
• Familiarity with breathwork, wellness, or mindfulness app conventions
