Full-stack Developer (Meteor/React/Node.js) - PT Freelance - Americas/EMEA

Title: Meteor & React Developer for Immersive Media Project

Overview:

We're seeking an experienced developer to take ownership of our immersive media code base. The role involves maintaining, deploying, and extending an application that combines Meteor, React, AWS integrations, and krpano for immersive experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Code Maintenance: Manage repository operations, versioning, and deployments across various environments (DEV01, DEV02, PRD).
• Feature Development: Implement new features and address bugs in both the frontend (React) and backend (Meteor/Node.js).
• AWS & External Services: Configure and manage AWS services (S3, SNS, Lambda) and integrate with external APIs (e.g., Tokbox, krpano).
• Data Migrations: Create and maintain migration scripts and ensure database consistency.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Write tests and validate code quality while ensuring minimal disruption to production.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Document changes and work collaboratively with stakeholders while driving the project independently.

Required Skills:

• Proficient with Meteor, Node.js, and React.
• Experience with AWS services, including S3, IAM, and Lambda.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Ability to read and extend existing code bases, including migration scripts and server-side routing.
• Familiarity with immersive media frameworks like krpano is a plus.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with webRTC integrations (e.g., Tokbox).
• Understanding of agile methodologies and deployment best practices.
