As Team Lead, my role entailed working on key user stories that were required for the overall success of releases, evaluating and making technical decisions to ensure better user experience and scalability, providing guidance and direction to the developers on my team and ensuring that the delivered product at the end of each sprint and release matched the requirements from the product team. While on this role, my team and I were able to migrate the User, group, Schedule,Reporting and Analysis modules from the existing flash based Edumatic product to the new web based AssessmentQ product while ensuring compatibility between both products so that customers on both platform could enjoy similar experience until they were ready to make the jump to the new AssessmentQ platform.

As Team Lead, my role entails working on key part of critical applications, providing oversight and assistance to junior developers and also ensuring best coding and devops practices during the development lifecycle of ongoing projects. While on this role I developed a project cost estimation system which aims to give a rough estimate of the capital cost associated with a project by integrating with existing system like Travel Request application, Cash Expense, Procurement and the company’s invoicing system. I am currently converting the existing Cyberpay payroll application into microservices using .Net Core, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ and AWS SQS.
