I use git for keeping track of my code both at home and work and use a 3 staged system of dev, staging and production to ensure my work is kept to the best standards possible.

MySQL while being the child of a truly monstrous company is used to store data for example user accounts in various projects i have created both in work and my own personal projects. I would say that i am fairly confident in stored procedures, polymorphic tables, normalisation and joins to be able to help those that need a hand.

My current role has required me to learn python pretty much from knowing little of the language. Since my humble beginnings i have become fairly confident in it and feel i got to the stage where i could help others.

I have worked with PHP for around 5 years now in both personal and professional industries. From helping others on forums to working for design agencies and even a internet service provider maintaining their internal systems.

I have a strong knowledge of both the procedural and object oriented paradigms as well as where each of them should and shouldn't be used. 

I have spent a lot of time working with HTML in it's various forms. From xhtml to markdown i have become fluent and have put it to use in creating entire web applications from project management systems to contributing to other open source projects found on the internet.

I have authored a few plugins in JavaScript one of which being a easy to way to handle anchor links. This plugin was a way expand the possibilities of anchor links by allowing events and parameters to be bound to them.

I have a sharp eye for detail and have built up a strong understand of design in interfaces from the use of colour to working out who to best layout a website.

I have built several applications with Laravel including a medical dashboard and internal systems for an internet service provider.

I have extensive experience with APIs and Stripe is certainly no exception.
