Prior to becoming a software engineer, I was a math tutor for seven years helping students I have seen individuals go from having deeply internalized academic doubt to believing in their own problem-solving brilliance and leading outstanding academic careers. As a software engineer, I've trained many early career to mid-level developers on many facets of web development. With more than 6 years of fullstack development experience delivering startup and enterprise product and one year as a coding bootcamp instructor, I am confident that I can support you in learning foundational programming and web development concepts.

Long-term tutoring/mentoring with me will help you see the most benefit because having a safe space to ask all sorts of questions and develop the skill of asking questions is the most underrated skill in the industry and it takes time and cycles of feedback to develop that.

I mentor with empathy and compassion so you can count on me to understand your frustration and help you get past those incredibly difficult parts of understanding very tough concepts. You can count on me to also give you insight on how to build code quality and how to think about code quality and best practices.
