* Converted existing Oracle forms into a web-based interface. The project also added additional precision to the data. A new technology from Infragistics was used on the project called WARPS (web asynchronous refresh panels) included with Infragistics NetAdvantage.

Programmed a mission-critical, client/server system for identifying images and passing the data back to the examiners to verify claims quicker, allowing a better auto-adjudication rate for 1.3 million claims, saving the company $525,000 a year.

I first experienced AJAX back when Jesse James Garrett blogged about the XmlHttpRequest and I threw out my JavaScript Bible (Huge book of >500 pages).

Ever since Boostrap appeared, I've been using this awesome framework to build some amazing websites. I've developed a number of websites (corporate and personal) with Bootstrap and am loving Bootstrap 4 even more.

I have worked with C# since 2002 when it first came out. I was experienced with Delphi and then transitioned over to C# and haven't looked back since.

Ever since the web appeared in 1994, I didn't realize the potential of CSS. I've been hand-coding my CSS for a long time, but with the appearance of frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation, it doesn't make sense to hand-code everything. 

I started out with Entity Framework 1 and then it jumped to 4 and currently on EF Core. I've been using the ORM since inception and also in my corporate career. I even built my site, DanylkoWeb, using Entity Framework.

I have been working with HTML and CSS for the last 22 years and provide optimized HTML and CSS using ASP.NET MVC. MVC provides a granular approach to HTML and CSS.

I've been using JavaScript since the Netscape days and again, I haven't looked back since. Currently, I know JavaScript, jQuery, and starting to dig into Aurelia (no, not Angular).

I've moved on from XML because of the bloated, verbose format and use JSON instead. I've been using JSON since 2006 (10 years) and continue to use JSON for SignalR, C#, and, of course, AJAX calls.

SQL Server and C# have gone together like peanut butter and jelly. I've been working with SQL Server since version 2000 and, again, I haven't looked back (currently on 2012).

I've been developing software for over 20 years and I've grown to love the Agile methodology. I take websites and either "refactor" them or I build them from scratch. I use more of my skills for the web nowadays instead of writing fat executables. ;-)

They didn't include Visual InterDev 6.0, but I've used that in the past as well.

It has become my IDE of choice for Microsoft development, whether it be a fat client executable or an ASP.NET MVC web application, but my focus is primarily on web development since I've been doing it for the last 22 years.

The client wanted a specific look and feel and to showcase their existing projects on the home page. The project took a total of 6 months of remote discussions and rescheduled meetings (Dedicated time was 3 months).

The site includes the following:
- Custom job opportunities section to manage open positions; when submitted, an email with the applicant's information is immediately sent to the right people and saved in the system for later review.
- Gallery of Completed Landscaping Projects - With the amount of services they offer, a gallery was created so viewers can examine the type of work they successfully completed.
- Analytics was included in the site as well.

The client is (and continues to be) extremely happy with the approach and design of the site. A phase 2 is currently in the works based on customer feedback and analytics.

PorterCMS (my custom CMS) was used to manage all of the assets and content of the site.
