About
I'm a Full-Stack & AI engineer with 7 years of experience and I specialize in building applications end-to-end: from the core application (Python, Django, Vue, Nuxt, Next.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL), the AI layer (agents, LLMs, Voice AI, RAG, vector databases), to the deployment on production (Docker, AWS, Vercel).
I have 4 and a half years of experience at Bitstamp - one of the world's longest running crypto exchanges. I was the technical lead for the frontend & REST API work of an initiative for implementing the Travel Rule - a regulatory requirement which augmented the crypto withdrawal and deposit flow.
One thing that sets me apart: I'm also a photographer of 10+ years, so I bring a strong visual eye and care about design and detail. The frontends I build aren't just functional, they look and feel right.
In June this year I solely developed an online booking platform for adventures on water serving hundreds of customers, a product I owned and engineered end-to-end. This project taught me how to communicate directly with the client, understand their requirements, scope the product features, and architect a solution.
Recently, I also developed a voice AI receptionist - a agent handling natural conversation in Slovenian and English, helping customers book appointments through a phone conversation.

Work Experience
Technical lead for frontend and REST API work on a small team at one of the world’s longest-running crypto exchanges (4M+ customers).
- Contributed to a secure and scalable pipeline for migrating 1M+ users from Bitstamp to Robinhod (after the acquisition), utilizing Django monolith, Flask microservices and AWS PrivateLink.
- Developed UI components and REST APIs for Travel Rule - regulatory compliance feature, which requested additional information on crypto withdrawals and deposits for 100k+ users on the platform.
- Developed and maintained frontend and backend features for Bitstamp's web application in the cryptocurrency exchange sector.
- Migrated the back-office frontend from Django templates to Nuxt — unifying frontend code and design tokens.
Established full-stack foundations by working across the stack on the lead-generation platform primerjam.si / procompare.com: from Django backends, Python scrapers, to Javascript/HTML/CSS frontends.
- Implemented a new frontend from scratch (from Figma designs) for the lead-generation platform primerjam.si / procompare.com, using Django templates, Javascript, HTML & CSS.
- Rewrote and fully migrated a legacy codebase from Ruby on Rails to Django, affecting thousands of users
- Developed a system of web-scrapers using Python, triggered by cron jobs, scraping and aggregating data for 10k+companies in 4 countries with rate-limiting, IP-rotation, and PostgreSQL storage.
- Developed backend services, REST APIs, and integrations on a back-office platform in Django - serving customers to ~100k users in 4 different countries using a multi-tenant architecture with Django tenants.
