Tech Lead / Fractional CTO (FinTech, Trading Platforms, AI Systems) - PT - Worldwide

Overview

We are building a next-generation trading platform that unifies charting, community, decision-making, execution, and AI assistance into a single, structured environment.
The product replaces the fragmented trading workflow (TradingView + Discord + Telegram + brokers + screenshots) with a single, intelligent terminal designed to reduce noise, prevent gambling behavior, and bring accountability and structure to retail trading.

We already have:

• A working prototype (front-end largely designed)
• Patented concepts
• A formal integration/contract with TradingView
• Legal structure, banking, and significant personal capital invested
• Deep domain knowledge in trading, brokers, prop firms, and trading psychology

What we don’t have yet is a senior technical leader to take ownership of architecture, execution, and team-building.
This role is for someone who wants to build something real and lasting, not just ship features.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Tech Lead / Fractional CTO who can:

• Take ownership of the technical vision
• Translate an advanced product concept into a scalable architecture
• Lead execution of core MVP features
• Build and manage a small, elite engineering team over time
• You will work directly with the founders as a technical partner, not as a task-taker.

Required Experience

Must-Have

• 8+ years in software engineering
• Prior experience as Tech Lead, Principal Engineer, or CTO
• Strong full-stack background (frontend + backend)
• Experience designing complex, stateful applications
• Ability to take vague, high-level ideas and turn them into concrete systems
• Strong communication skills (you can explain complex systems clearly)

Strongly Preferred

• FinTech, trading, market data, or financial systems experience
• Experience with real-time or near-real-time data systems
• AI/ML system integration experience (LLMs, decision support tools)
• Prior startup or founder experience
• Experience building platforms meant to last 10+ years, not MVP-only

Core Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Define and own the overall system architecture
• Select and justify the tech stack (frontend, backend, infra, AI)
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance from day one
• Establish engineering standards, workflows, and documentation

2. MVP Execution (High Priority)
   Lead and finalize the three core product pillars:

3. Analyze Charts (Decision Formation)
   Market/session context (banking sessions, liquidity, macro)
   Indicator-based confluence analysis
   AI-assisted chart interpretation
   Real-time + near-real-time market data integration

4. Forecast & Decision Crystallization
   Structured forecast creation (entries, bias, rationale)
   AI pre-submission review and feedback
   Personal vs community vs mentor visibility
   Historical tracking and performance metrics

5. Community Distribution Layer
   Interactive, shareable forecasts (not screenshots)
   Community feeds, leaderboards, rankings
   Verified trader profiles and performance transparency

6. AI Systems Oversight
   Integrate AI copilots that:
   Observe user behavior (hesitation, overtrading, gambling signals)
   Assist with decision validation, not signal selling
   Provide guardrails for human cognition under uncertainty
   Work with LLMs, prompt systems, and decision logic (not “chatbot fluff”)

7. Broker & Trading Infrastructure Integration
   Design secure broker execution pathways
   Handle permissions, APIs, and compliance considerations
   Prepare infrastructure for future broker partnerships

8. Team Building & Mentorship
   Potentially bring trusted collaborators you’ve worked with before
   Review code, guide architecture decisions, mentor developers
