React + Node Developer for Prototype

Role Overview

Join us in developing a demo-grade prototype to streamline workflows for lawyers and Indigenous organizations focused on land tenure and agreements. This project emphasizes speed and clarity over production-level polish. The prototype aims to enable users to quickly search for companies and view maps, agreements, and obligations within 15 seconds. This fixed-scope project is designed for buyer demos and pilot sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop a prototype based on a detailed specification, focusing on speed and clarity.
• Implement a user interface that allows users to search for companies and view related maps, agreements, and obligations quickly.
• Utilize pre-loaded demo data to enable functionality without live integrations.
• Ensure strict adherence to scope without adding unauthorized features.
• Collaborate effectively to deliver a high-quality prototype that meets demo requirements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in React or Next.js for front-end development.
• Strong skills in Node.js for server-side logic.
• Experience with Mapbox, Leaflet, or similar technologies for map-based user interfaces.
• Familiarity with creating dashboards or map-based UIs.
• Ability to integrate LLM APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic) for demo functionalities.
• Competency in using Replit or VS Code for development.

Nice to Have

• Experience converting designs from Figma to code.
• Previous experience in developing SaaS prototypes.
