MQL5 Developer With ML/AI Expertise

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled MQL5 Developer with expertise in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly in Reinforcement Learning (RL), Transformers, and Predictive Coding. The primary objective is to modify and optimize the StockFormer system (from MQL5 articles 16686 and 16713) into a single, live Forex Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5 (MT5), with dynamic training, robust risk management, and VPS stability. No risky strategies like Martingale or Grid – focus on data-driven, sustainable approaches. Provide references to similar AI-Trading projects.

Responsibilities

Modify and enhance StockFormer to a fully integrated EA on MT5, including full file embedding (e.g., large .mqh files like NeuroNet.mqh via #include/#property) for standalone operation without dependencies.

• Implement dynamic online/offline training (RL with Actor-Critic), multi-timeframe/multi-asset support (e.g., 1-Min training on 15-Min charts, assets like EURUSD/GBPUSD).
• Integrate advanced risk management (dynamic TP/SL, trailing stops, position sizing at 1-2% risk, broker costs in reward function) and anti-overfitting measures (cross-validation, early-stopping, dropout).
• Ensure user-friendliness (simple inputs, logging, no GUI) and VPS compatibility (resource limits, error-handling for 24/7 operation).
• Deliver with back/forward tests (e.g., on 2023-2025 data, metrics like Sharpe >1, Max Drawdown <15%, Win-Rate >60%), documentation, and code comments.
• Work in milestones: 1. Basis-Integration (30%), 2. Dynamic Features + Tests (40%), 3. Optimization + Docs (30%).

Required Skills

• Proven experience with MQL5 development, MetaTrader 5 EAs, and OpenCL integration.
• Expertise in ML/AI for trading (RL, Transformers, Predictive Coding).
• Strong understanding of Forex trading, algorithmic strategies, and risk management.
• Ability to handle large files/codes and ensure VPS stability.
• No involvement in risky strategies (e.g., Martingale); focus on ethical, robust systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MQL5 community/articles and similar AI-Trading mods.
• Familiarity with financial data analysis, backtesting in MT5 Strategy Tester.
• Knowledge of integrating external APIs or data sources for enhanced insights.
