Senior AI Engineer - Full-time - NA/LATAM/EMEA

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to lead the development and implementation of our AI and NLP pipelines. This role requires technical ownership, including prompt engineering, confidence calibration, routing logic, and per-client fine-tuning. You will work closely with a small team, be responsible for your sprint deliverables, and escalate blockers when necessary.

This is not a junior role; candidates must have production-grade experience in AI/ML and LLM deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of AI models for bookkeeping and financial data processing
• Perform prompt engineering and confidence calibration for client-specific models
• Build and maintain per-tenant fine-tuning pipelines using Azure OpenAI and other ML tools
• Collaborate with bookkeepers and accountants to understand business logic and incorporate it into AI workflows
• Own sprint deliverables and manage your own tasks with minimal supervision
• Participate in technical planning and provide input on architectural decisions
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet production standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with AI, machine learning, NLP, and LLMs
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI
• Familiarity with data pipelines and data engineering concepts
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
• Proven ability to deliver production-grade AI/ML solutions

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Previous exposure to OpenAI API and model fine-tuning
• Understanding of financial systems or bookkeeping workflows
• Experience working with multi-tenant data architectures
