About the Company

AddMeIn is a new founder-led startup building a Personal Life Management Bot - a WhatsApp-based assistant designed to help people make sense of their personal obligations, reduce mental clutter, and maintain a trusted “system of record" for their lives.
We’re now hiring the technical mind who will bring this MVP to life.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an LLM Orchestration Engineer with deep, hands-on experience building real-world, persona-driven, memory-enabled chatbots. This role goes far beyond basic prompt engineering or frontend chatbot work. You will architect the core intelligence of the product, including how it learns, adapts, and interacts with users at scale.

This is a highly creative + technical position that mixes software engineering, behavioral design, and AI systems thinking.

What You’ll Build

The MVP is a WhatsApp bot that helps users offload thoughts, obligations, and personal information into a persistent system they can trust. Your work will include:

1. Persona & Guardrail Engineering

• Design the bot’s tone, boundaries, and interaction style.
• Shape consistent, safe behavior across varied user inputs.

2. LLM Orchestration & System Architecture

• Build a modular orchestration layer that is foundation-model agnostic (OpenAI, open source models, or future providers).
• Implement structured reasoning flows, multi-step interactions, and retrieval or memory components.
• Create a durable storage mechanism to hold personal insights, tasks, and past interactions.

3. Continuous Learning & Adaptation

• Architect a system that learns from early user sessions (100–1,000 users).
• Develop personalization strategies that identify and adapt to different user types.
• Improve the bot’s helpfulness and accuracy based on real-world usage patterns.

4. WhatsApp Integration

• Integrate with WhatsApp (likely via Twilio or Meta’s Cloud API).
• Manage message states, user sessions, and lightweight UI flows.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with LLM orchestration, including:
  *LangGraph, LangChain, custom frameworks, or equivalent
  *multi-step agent workflows
  *persona and guardrail design
  *context and memory management
• Strong backend engineering experience (Python or Node preferred).
• Demonstrated experience building real, shipped conversational systems (bots, assistants, agents).
• Proficiency with persistent storage design (SQL/NoSQL/vector DBs).
• Ability to build model-agnostic architectures with swappable LLM providers.
• Experience transforming ambiguous product vision into clear, testable systems.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience shipping MVPs under short timelines.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API integrations.
• Experience with habit-forming or coaching-style applications.
• Background in behavioral design, human-in-the-loop systems, or personal productivity tools.
