AI-Native Technical Operations Lead

We are hiring our first technical operations hire — someone who owns the operational layer of our AI-assisted development workflow so our engineering leadership can focus on high-leverage product development.

Think of it this way: if our lead engineer is the recording artist, you're the studio engineer. The artist walks into a prepped studio, records, and walks out. You handle the setup, levels, mixing, mastering, and delivery. The creative output increases dramatically because someone else owns the operational backbone.

This is a ground-floor equity opportunity. You are joining as a foundational member of the technical team with meaningful ownership in a platform targeting a multi-billion-dollar market.

What You'll Do:

• Pre-session environment prep: branch setup, dependency checks, staging environment readiness
• Post-session QA: code review, test execution, regression checks, deployment to staging/production
• CI/CD pipeline management, monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance
• Compliance and technical documentation (HIPAA-aware environment)
• Independent development of lower-complexity features and bug fixes (30–40% of time)

What We're Looking For:

• 3–7 years of full-stack development experience
• Daily, active use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) — this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have
• Must be able to show at least one project built with AI assistance in the last 60 days
• Strong QA discipline: testing, documentation, edge case identification
• DevOps fluency: CI/CD, Docker, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Comfortable as the #2 to a technical founder in a fast-moving startup
