AI App Developer with RAG Model Expertise for Dental Clinicians

Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a seasoned AI App Developer to join our team in creating an innovative AI Clinical Mentor specifically designed for dental clinicians. This platform, inspired by the physician app OpenEmitence, aims to support recent dental graduates by offering guidance on complex cases through AI-driven treatment plan guidelines based on patient details and uploaded images, such as X-rays and intraoral photos.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model leveraging a proprietary dataset to produce accurate and reliable outputs, minimizing hallucinations.
• Develop and integrate functionality for patient data management and image uploads into the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure timely delivery of the project.
• Ensure the platform's scalability, security, and compliance with healthcare data standards.
• Engage in weekly check-ins to provide updates on progress and address any challenges.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development and AI/ML systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in RAG architectures, LLM fine-tuning, and dataset integration.
• Strong proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience with image handling pipelines, particularly in handling X-rays and other medical imaging formats.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
