The previous system faced critical challenges

• Sluggish Performance: The system was hampered by its local hosting on a low-specification PC, resulting in slow operations.

• Inadequate Functionality: The existing system fell short of meeting the company's multifaceted requirements. This deficiency led to the parallel use of a physical filing system, creating inefficiencies.

The solution I orchestrated:

• Seamless Integration: I orchestrated the integration of all departments - sales, logistics, finance, fleet, management, and IT. This ensured a cohesive workflow and eliminated the need for redundant systems.
• User Access Control: I implemented a robust User Access Control system to bolster information security and streamline operations. This measure guarantees that each user can access only the information necessary for their respective roles, enhancing efficiency and confidentiality.
• Rigorous System Logging: I instituted an extensive logging system to maintain accountability among all staff members. This feature records every interaction within the system, enabling transparent oversight and traceability.
• AWS Hosting for Optimal Performance: To address speed and reliability concerns, I migrated the system to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Offering lightning-fast performance and robust uptime, eradicating the previous issues associated with local hosting.

The prior Feed Section faced critical challenges:

• Overwhelming Information: Cards contained excessive details, making them visually cumbersome for users.
• Lack of Personalization: Events were presented randomly without considering individual user preferences or location.

To address these issues, I implemented the following solutions:

• Redesigned Feed Cards: I revamped the feed section cards to serve as trailers or thumbnails, providing a preview of event details rather than overwhelming users with excessive information. Additionally, users now have the option to delve deeper for more information if they wish.
• Enhanced Algorithm: I introduced a sophisticated feed section algorithm that suggests events based on user preferences and location. This algorithm not only streamlines event discovery but also documents future prospects for tracking user interactions, such as clicks and conversions. This invaluable data is then utilized to refine the algorithm, making event suggestions even more intuitive and tailored to individual user preferences.

The outcome of this initiative was remarkable. The WeDance platform experienced a substantial 30% increase in event joins, affirming the effectiveness of the revamped feed system in enhancing user engagement and event participation.
