At Diamond Light Source, I worked primarily with the MX (Macroscopy Crystallography) beamline scientists to enhance the functionality and build new features for the ISPyB/Synchweb web application. The Synchweb application is a web application used for visualizing, managing and accessing data collected from the beamline during experiments. My work involved building out the ideas and requirements of the scientists on the web application. I also worked to improve the performance, speed and overall user experience of the web application as it is data intensive and involves a lot of data visualization. These optimizations involved working on the backend and front end of the application.

Leading other frontend engineers in building and creating reusable user interfaces while ensuring that clean code architecture is maintained. Monitoring and improving app performance, performing code reviews and mentoring other team members.
